What can I expect if I register?

The virtual event will begin on October 29, 2020. You'll receive access to six live, CME-accredited, interactive webinars, on-demand abstract sessions, e-posters, lectures, and non-CME technology workshops. Plus, you can visit the exhibit hall to download product information to your "virtual briefcase," watch demo videos, and chat with exhibitors and other participants via text, audio, and video. You'll score points to win gift cards and an entry into the participant raffle. You'll also have access to the platform and content on-demand through January 31, 2021.

Do I have to be a SMISS Member to participate?

No, you do not have to be a SMISS Member to participate at the virtual event. However, SMISS Members receive discounted registration. Click here for details.

How do I register?

Can industry reps register to attend?

If your company is exhibiting at the meeting, they will receive a certain amount of complimentary "booth" rep registrations - contact Christy Gill for details. Industry reps can also register for general access but will not be able to participate in live chat in the exhibit hall.

Will there be CME credits available?

Yes, the live webinars will be CME-accredited. Click here for accreditation information. On-demand content will not be CME-accredited.

The times for the live event are not convenient for me. Can I still participate?

Yes, the entire program and recordings of the webinars will be available for on-demand access beginning in November. On-demand access is free but does not offer live chat, Q&A, CME credit, or the participant raffle. 

How long will on-demand access be available?

Access to the platform will be available through January 31, 2021.

How do I login the day of the event?

You will receive an email with a link to the platform a few days in advance. Use your email address to login to the virtual site.

Do I need to download or install anything in advance?

No, you do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need access to the internet from a desktop, mobile, or tablet device.
