Target Audience

This course is designed for orthopaedic and neurological surgeons, fellows, and residents.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Describe the rationale, advances, surgical tips, and complications associated with current MISS techniques. 

  • Discuss evaluation, decision making, and MISS options for the management of spinal deformity, cervical and lumbar degenerative, trauma, and tumor conditions.

  • Describe current best practices for various MISS emerging technologies including robotics and AI.

  • Discuss healthcare economics in MISS, including ASCs and future technology.
